POPCORN SHED REVIEW*

Friday 27 September 2019

Need to juju up your popcorn? sick and tired of butter popcorn? Well lemme tell you about Popcorn Shed a luxury popcorn brand offering different flavours and cute packaging! It's the UK's first super premium gourmet popcorn brand which is beautifully packaged in a shed box! Each shed box is different, from the colour to the little door! Popcorn Shed claim that with each batch of popcorn made, they only use an artisan cooking process unlike normal popcorn factory which apply a spray on and powder caramel coating, whereas Popcorn Shed make a fresh batch of caramel for each production run! Cousins Laura and Sam are the founders of Popcorn Shed, starting from there little shed they grew into a family business.

I was gifted some popcorn to taste and review! It's a hard job but someone has to do it.
Flavours include Salted Caramel, Pecan Pie, Pop n Choc, Butterly Nuts, Berry Licious, Say Cheese and Sweet Cheesus. I have to admit, I was a little scared to try Sweet Cheesus (Caramel & Cheese) and when I did it was a bit better than Say Cheese (Just cheesy popcorn). Say Cheese reminded me of sweaty feet in my opinion and won't be munching on them again. Berrylicious is my favourite which is Raspberry, Caramel and Dark Chocolate flavour. Heavenly. Salted Caramel is your simple basic flavour, Pecan Pie is caramel popcorn with pecan nut pieces, Pop n Choc is another favourite and it's a mix of Chocolate Caramel popcorn with belgian milk chocolate. Butterly Nuts is peanut caramel popcorn with roasted peanuts and it was gorgeous. A flavour for everyone. Whether you are sweet or savory, one of these flavours will speak to you.

My husband was desperate to get into the popcorn and ended up eating a packet of Salted Caramel before I could take photos. #bloggerproblems.

As Halloween is coming round the corner, whats more perfect than sitting on the sofa watching Netflix's horror films and munching on some popcorn?! It's also perfect for a bit of added luxury to a autumn picnic, a gift basket, cinema dates, lunch boxes etc etc.

Where do you like to eat popcorn? Do you just eat it at the cinema? While watching Netflix? or just as a snack when you are peckish? Which flavours sound right up your alley?! Lemme know!
