FENWICK WINDOW & CHRISTMAS MARKET 2018

Monday 17 December 2018

the snowmanLast year I wrote a post about Fenwick window's Christmas theme. Which was Paddington Bear and it was adorable. This year, Fenwick have put The Snowman as it's theme for 2018. To coincide with The Snowman's 40th anniversary. As you walk towards the window, the music "We're walking in the air" can be heard.

MY FAVOURITE EYELINER

Thursday 18 October 2018

Everyday I always wear Mascara and Eyeliner and usually I'm in a rush to go meet a friend or I need to run to the metro to go to work so I need a quick application. I've tried various eyeliners since I can remember wearing it and currently I've been obsessing over Revolution's Renaissance Flick Eyeliner.

THE BUFFY TAG

Sunday 7 October 2018

buffy comics

I love doing a good question tag. I've done the Harry Potter Tag last blogtober and a few autumn ones. I found this Buffy The Vampire Slayer tag on Youtube and thought I would do one here. I'm a huge fan of Buffy and I know a few people on Twitter are as well. I tag anyone who is a fan of Buffy and has a blog or youtube channel!

AN AUTUMN MUSIC PLAYLIST

Saturday 6 October 2018

I always love a good playlist to listen to whatever task I'm working on, whether its cleaning, blogging or even my journey to work. Music makes me happy. And it's not something I always share with people.

PRIMARK CHOCOLATE EYESHADOW PALETTE

Friday 5 October 2018

Pri Choc Pal

I moved house around two months ago and I'm still getting settled in. (I'll do an update post soon!) I haven't even found an area of the house to take blog photos in. I haven't even gotten everything unpacked and I'm buying more things. I popped into Primark recently to get some new clothes and have a look at the home ware section and found more Chocolate palettes out on the shelves. Every time I pop into the Newcastle branch they always have out of stock make-up. I eventually got my hands on the too faced dupe! I don't think you can get them any more due to their new Disney make-up range taking up the shelves but every so often you'll find a straggler in the field of palettes.

WE WILL NOT BE SILENCED | VOX Book Review*

Thursday 4 October 2018

" Imagine a world where you can only speak one hundred words a day but only if your a woman"

Vox by Christina Dalcher is a dystopian novel and I'm so glad I got to read this. A quick google search tells me that woman speak around 20,000 words per day, 7000 more than men.
This cautionary tale of women being restricted to only speaking 100 words a day is frightening and a little too close to current events with the #metoo movement and women's rights in general.

AUTUMN TAG 2018

Wednesday 3 October 2018

I did the Autumn Book Tag last blogtober, this time around is a general tag questions.

TV SHOWS I'LL BE WATCHING THIS FALL

Tuesday 2 October 2018

I didn't have a photo so this Buffy Gif is a place holder for now and relateable. Fall is my favourite time for TV shows because all of my current tv obsessions air new seasons. I already have a ton of tv shows to watch but I'm adding to my list.

Here is what I'll be watching while getting cosy on the sofa with a cup of gingerbread tea!

OCTOBER GOALS 2018

Monday 1 October 2018

Where has the year gone? It's already Halloween season. If you are wondering where I got my Candy Corn candle from, which smells amazing by the way, it's from TK Maxx! There candle range is out of this world right now and perfect for Autumn.
I didn't complete blogtober last year, I only managed eighteen posts due to things out of my control. But fingers crossed I can complete this years and hopefully kickstart my love of blogging again.

REAL AF GOALS

Wednesday 6 June 2018

Ya might wanna sit down with a cup of tea or coffee or heck a bottle of vodka because dang it, I was going to write about how it's already June and I haven't really cracked any of the goals I wanted for this year but lets be real here, I'm just gunna word vomit what's been happening in these 6 months of 2018. I mean since this blogpost , all I've done is bought my own domain for my blog, which I'm happy about and now I want to get started on getting a new layout for my blog but I've been brought down so much lately with all of the recent events, that I'm starting to not feel motivated or want to do anything.

CHILDHOOD GAMES | 90s & Early 00s

Friday 6 April 2018

Since I can remember, I've always been a gamer. I remember sitting on my Nan's sofa with my dad's computer playing games I shouldn't be playing at the age of 5. Such as Duke Nukem and Doom. Even just playing Solitaire and clicking through Encarta (You remember that gem of a program?!) molded the gamer that I am today. I dug deep in research to find some childhood memories for this post, some games I had long forgotten about and ended up googling them all and getting serious nostalgia! So sit back with a cuppa and get reading.

THE SIMS MOBILE REVIEW

Saturday 17 March 2018

Finally, Electronic Arts have released their mobile game for The Sims. We already have The Sims Freeplay on the market which is riddled with app purchases and horrible wait times. But what does this game offer?! Before you get super excited, lemme tell you that this mobile game is the same as every game out there. There are wait times during game play and in app purchases but it's not as ridiculous as it's sister app that is "Freeplay" which is also made by EA. Come on, EA. Did you really need two versions of a mobile sim game? Was "Freeplay" a tester. And Free play is a loose word for that game since I could hardly do anything but wait for something to be built. No body has time to wait for a piece of furniture to be built for 24 hours. NOBODY.

GETTING READY FOR SPRING WITH LOVELILY*

Tuesday 20 February 2018

I don't normally sway from my everyday perfumes that I love, but occasionally I will dip into the sea of scents and find new perfumes to wear. Usually if you took a big ole' whiff of me. You'd find that I'll be wearing either Britney Spear's Fantasy or Zoella's Gelato Mist. But lately I've been reaching for a new perfume. And that is Accessorize's Lovelily*

ME BEFORE & AFTER YOU

Sunday 18 February 2018

{This post is the first to be posted after my domain name change. I'm so excited and next step is to get a new layout!}

The last time I ever binge read a series and loved it so much was Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series when it first came out (before the hype and films) I'm not ashamed to admit that. Coming close was the Dollanganger Series by VC Andrews & The Oak Knoll series by Tami Hoag. But since watching the film and loving it so much, I purchased the book by Jojo Moyes. Then half way through reading, I went on amazon and ordered After You, the sequel. Knowing fine well that I wanted to carry on Lou's story. Still Me, the third in the series is hanging about in shops and I will get my hands on a copy on my next payday. But I've just finished After You. And I'm still on the Louisa Clark high.

ZOELLA'S WINTER WONDERHAND CREAM & MINI PERFUMES

Wednesday 14 February 2018

Winter Wonderland is part of the Snowella 2017 Christmas Range, but recently I popped into Superdrug and sound them at a discounted price. The Hand Cream was a whopping 99p and the mini perfumes were £4.99 and I have to thank my momma for picking them up for me. I love a bargain and so does my mum.

BE MY VALENTINE

Monday 12 February 2018

It's moments that matter and Valentine's Day is still an exception to this whether or not you think it's one big giant corporate scam or just a lovely little tradition. This valentines day, spent it with the ones you love. Whether it's your partner in crime, family or friends. Don't single out Valentines Day as for couples. Here are some moments I have printed using Printiki* featuring some special people in my life.

MARC JACOBS HIGHLINER GEL CRAYONS*

Sunday 28 January 2018

I'm so excited that after two months of posting my review about the Marc Jacobs Mascara, I was selected for another voxbox from influenster. This time it was to try out Marc Jacobs new Highliners. :D Thank you influenster for sending me these.
