TAROT DE MARSEILLE*

Monday 11 November 2019

Hey everyone! Today I have a beautiful Tarot Card review, which was gifted*. I already own a few decks and will delve into them more in a future blog post but the Tarot De Marseille is a beautiful french deck that I'll be reviewing today and talking about what the cards have in store for me.

The deck is covered with beautiful art and holding them in my hand, feels good, thick enough not to be flimsy like other decks. These cards are narrower than what I'm used to but that's OK, I was still able to shuffle and handle them as I normally do with a deck.  This deck is the Dusserre Grimaud edition and an exact replica of the 1930's deck. It's also a very good representation of the 1709 Tarot De Madenie deck. I kept them by my bedside table to form a bond with them. And I'll admit that these are becoming my new favorite deck the more I use them.

I chose to do a three card spread. a basic Past, Present and Future spread.

7 OF SWORDS (Reversed) - This card can represent a few things such as relying on others before finding answers yourself/ relying on others too much or breaking free from challenges, perhaps some lies and deception or dishonesty in your life.

6 OF SWORDS - This card can represent travel/movement in the right direction, water, journeys, a mission and progression.

5 OF SWORDS - This can represent failure, loss, cancelled plans etc.

I asked what this new job and the end of the year will bring. And I'm surprised with the outcome. the 6 of Swords fits perfectly with my question and I can see where the future is heading, as plans have gone wary already.

I'm by no means a pro tarot card reader, I like to do this for fun but if you want to a free reading and love to know more about Tarot then check out 7tarot , this website will do an online card reading and you can explore the deck and learn more as you click.
I gave it a try myself and found the results really interesting and almost close to what I drew myself but in more depth, I suggest if you have 5 mins and are curious then give it a go. :D

Have a bonus photo of my fave card in the deck. The Moon. I always look at this card whenever I get a new deck and it never fails to make me happy.
